ICC Pro Tristar Tester v2.0

Description

This little tristar tester is invaluable for a micro soldering technician. This device will allow you to test an ipad charge port or tristar problem without having to remove the screen first. Before this device, there was no easy way to diagnose and repair ipads efficiently.

For iPhones, charge port problems are less common, but tristar problems are widespread. With this device, you can test if the tristar chip is bad on the iphone without having to open it. Everyone should have one of these things even if you don’t do micro soldering.

One caveat, this device has a known problem with charging.  When the rechargeable battery completely dies, the only way to get it charging again is to hold the power button for 10 seconds, then plug a usb-c cable into the unit for up to 10 minutes, then release the button and it will start charging again.
